Wedding Videos

Phonan + Christine • Bellingham, WA

From the moment they met, Phonan knew that it was game over; Christine was the one. Behind all the fun and (video) games, Phonan and Christine are deep romantics who can’t wait to embark on their next journey. Their wedding day was full of gorgeous splendor, their loving family, amazing friends, and Game of Thrones references (see cake!). This was a wedding that truly defined Ohana.

If you want to see a groom who is deeply in love with his bride, watch this video.

Matt + Mauri • Seattle, WA

Mauri & Matt are two magical people that found their kindred spirit. From our first meeting, I knew they were the real deal. Their love is romantic, fun and aligned, and so are their aesthetics. Every single detail of their wedding was gorgeous, and when they kiss; the world stops. I had such a brilliant time capturing their amazing day. Couples like M&M make me sing!

Kristy + Kristen Sublime Summer Celebration

“They are married now – like really married,” overheard at the reception.

Kristy and Kristen’s wedding was such a beautiful and simple affair, but so powerful. The gravity and the beauty of their vows really resonated, but what makes this video so wonderful is to see how perfect they are for each other. K&K got to kiss in front of the iconic Pike Place, declare their love at the Golden Gardens and get down at the Library Bar at the Alexis Hotel. We were also introduced to the concept of “La Hora Loca” – where party masks and favors are distributed amongst the guests to re-energize the fun.

Chantel + Aaron Charming 1920’s Celebration

Aaron and Chantel invited June Films to Oregon to shoot their wedding. Their families gathered around them to make their day happen. Inspired by the Woody Allen film, Midnight in Paris, Chantel created a magical day at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverson. It also happens to be where Aaron grew up. This homecoming was full of sunshine, sweet kisses and a warm family. What a charming couple and a sheer delight to shoot!

Lisa + Pat – Wedding in the Woods

Treehouse Point was a gorgeous backdrop for the union of two free-spirited souls. Lisa is from Europe and Pat is as American as you can get. So, how did these two meet? In Vietnam, of course.

All jokes aside, the details of this wedding were as beautiful and whimsical as the couple. From the details of the mixed-match China to the exquisite floral arrangement, not a single ounce of consideration was left behind. Lisa sparkled in a lovely dress (actually two) and Pat preened and pranced all over the dance floor. The Austrians came in full-force with their traditional dress, but the big showman of the day was their dog, Meatcliff, who proudly barked at the first kiss.

Isn’t it lovely to get lost in the woods?

Kitten n’ Lou Extravaganza of Wedding Eleganza

When a Drag King proposes to a Burlesque queen, there will be glitter and glamour galore at their gay gala.

Susanna+Ricki+Kitten+Lou Extravanganza of Wedding Eleganza from June Films on Vimeo.

Susanna & Ricki are otherwise known as Kitten & Lou, the world’s showbusiest couple. They met on stage, but their love blossomed while performing in an Atomic Bombshells revue in Provincetown. Since Washington passed a Referendum 74 last november, the ladies felt the time was now to honor their love, surround themselves with their support, and get hitched in style.

Their show-stopping wedding celebrates their love, their talent and their campy sense of humor. These ladies know how to throw a fantastic party with piñatas, infinite bubbles, bouncy house, and the most first dance ever performed. Papa Mali, Dance Belt USA and Jerick Hofer (aka Jinkx Monsoon, RuPaul’s Drag Race 2013 Winner) entertained and wowed the guests, but the most magical moment was the first kiss. It was indeed an extravaganza of wedding eleganza!

Seattle Celebrates Same Sex Marriage at City Hall

Same Sex Marriage at Seattle City Hall • December 9, 2012 from June Films on Vimeo.

December 9, 2012 is a day for the history books. It marks the first official day that same sex couples could legally get married in the State of Washington. The City of Seattle celebrated the moment with a mass wedding at City Hall. Over 130 couples came to celebrate the historic landmark ruling of Referendum 74 by getting married. We were there to witness the love, joy, and jubilation. Congratulations! It is a proud moment for our nation.

Love wins!

Ivy+Behnad • St. Paul, Minnesota 2012 (SHORT & SWEET VERSION) from June Films on Vimeo.

A gorgeous bride, the stunning St. Paul Hotel, and a crowd getting down…what more could a wedding videographer ask for? Ivy & Ben are staples in the night life industry in Minneapolis. Ivy works as the front of house operations, and Ben is the man behind the curtain. When they throw a party, everyone gets down.
